What we do with your information.

When you message us. Your name, email address, whether you're a student or a parent and what year you're in, and whatever you write in the message. If you tell us you're under 18, a parent or guardian's email address as well. We use this to reply to you and nothing else.

If we start working together. Notes from sessions, drafts you send us, and a record of which sessions happened and when. We keep these so we can be useful across more than one hour, and so we know what we talked about last time.

Payments. Handled by Stripe or by bank transfer. We never see or store your card details.

Visits to this site. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying anyone. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to.

Our lawful bases are consent for enquiries, and contract for work we've agreed to do.

An enquiry that goes nowhere: deleted within twelve months. A backup copy of every form submission is stored automatically and deletes itself after a year.

Session notes and drafts, if we work together: kept while we're working together and for two years afterwards, in case you come back. Then deleted.

Records we're required to keep for tax: what was paid and when, for six years. That's a legal obligation, not a choice.

Nobody, other than the services we use to run this: Cloudflare (hosting and the contact form), Resend (sending us your message by email), Google (our email and documents), Stripe (payments) and Cal.com (booking). Each of them only sees what they need to do their part.

We don't sell your information, we don't share it with other tutoring or admissions companies, and we don't add you to a mailing list because you messaged us.

We ask for a parent or guardian's email so they're on every thread. We won't message anyone under 18 privately, and a parent can ask to see anything we hold about their child at any time.

If a parent would rather we deleted everything, email us and we'll do it and confirm when it's done.

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@grinduni.com and we'll do it within a month, usually a lot faster because there isn't much of it.

If you think we've handled your information badly, tell us first and we'll try to put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
